This was a small cozy place, good service and most importantly the food was absolutely delicious

Every Sunday they have soul food dinner plates for $10.00 drink included, Today was my first time going there and purchasing a dinner and it was delicious. In my opinion Great quality value for the price ✌

You will be treated well here...upon entering the door I realized I had been here before years ago when passing through the area and was drawn back by the treatment we received as well as the food...my taste being different from others it's hard to critique what has been working for them...i had the ribs which were as good as I remembered...tender but not falling apart...the beans and greens which were a little over cooked and under seasoned but like I said...thats my taste...overall a good experience

All new to me! The barbecue sandwich was not quite what I thought it would be. Man oh man, it was 6 big ribs between 2 pieces of white bread. It was extremely tender, falling off the bone. The sauce was A-1. I recommend highly.

I always absolutely love the food at SIMMS. It is a No-Frills place where you have a seat and never really feel welcome yet no one is rude to you. Just give your order and make sure that it is exactly right and complete and that you will not want anything extra later like desert.The food is always delicious and served with plain white bread. Napkins and hand sanitizers are on the table. The barbecue style is a slight tangy vinegar base and smoked to perfection. The beans also have a smoke flavor to them.Soul music is always playing on the jukebox and it always feels like a safe environment.Simm's is the barbecue that I consider a real treat to myself. For under $15 you can enjoy a fantastic chopped beef or pork dinner with two sides..white bread and a cold beer.

This one of my favorite places to eat. The food is just awesome. You dine in, carryout, or call-in. The have so many options for barbecue ribs, chicken, pulled pork and beef, link and a bevy of sides and desserts. They have meals for one or families on the menu, for a reasonable price. If u love barbecue, you can't go wrong with Sims.

If you are in the area, you HAVE to stop and try the BBQ stuff they have here. My goodness! After an 8-hour drive you deserve some reward. The meat is quite tasty, not to mention the unique BBQ sauce. It’s the real deal, because it’s made with some meat juice.

Very tasty foods. Links and ribs were great. Greens were also great. The beans were the bomb. Very good corn bread too. Sliced beef like brisket almost, very good.Nice people.

I dont mean no harm but the ribs were tough they normally dont be like that had to put them back in the oven

Best BBQ in town, in my opinion. Service always good. Ordered their giant family pack once for a get-together, and that was a great experience as well.

The restaurant is great and broad, the menu was enchanting and the prices were very fair. quickly, efficient service and very amiable staff. Highly recommended.

Soul Food Sunday...Good food...Good Price

I ate yesterday. Had rib plate with greens, cornbread muffin, potato salad, extra sauce and sweet tea. Enjoyed wile having fellowship.

The food was delicious!

Mrs. Cathy greeted me with a smile and took my order at the table. I had the rib dinner with potato salad and greens. I got baked beans; she apologized and brought a side of greens right out. The greens were salty to me, but were still hot. The ribs had great flavor and easily came off the bone.

Best BBQ I have ever tasted! Like the coleslaw too. We get ribs evertime. Best mustard vinegary sauce around.

We live in NLR and are happy to make the drive to this location. I love getting the chopped pork dinner though it's hard to choose between their french fries, baked beans and coleslaw. I can't get enough of the sauce they pour over the meat. It's flavor is unique and can't be found anywhere else as far as I know. This BBQ is just really, REALLY good.

Called 3 days in a row for a chopped beef sandwich and they were "out" of beef. Not to mention that I was put on hold for 5 min while 2 workers carried on a conversation about personal business. Bad customer service.

Ribs were tender. Meat was plentiful. Potato salad and baked beans were flavorful.

First time eating there today and i was not disappointed at all. Food was fantastic and the ladies that work there are sweet as can be. Prices are great as well. I will definitely be back.

We had barbeque beef and pork ribs with baked beans and turnip greens. Greens cooked very well, need a little more seasoning give a 5. Beans give a 5+. BBQ AN EASY 10. The gentleman at the register blew it out of the water with customer service.

Had the combo plate with two sides was pretty good actually I like the spicy BBQ sauce. It's a cozy little place and the staff seemed fairly friendly would definitely come here again.

I've been going to some since I was 12-13 I'm 47 now it use to be the best food I couldn't leave little rk without it now I don't even care to eat there they keep raising the prices a sandwich is almost as much as a steak

I LOVE me some Sims Barbeque...my favorite location is the Geyer Springs,however the location on Broadway/Roosevelt or John Barrow could getcha right,too. The sauce makes it better...

Food was excellent. The service needs some improvement. The servers where more concerned with get off work that taking care of their tables. When shift changed happed about 10 mins after I arrived no one ever came back to my table. I refilled my own drinks from the servers station along with hunting down my own lid and take box. I will order the food to go next time as it was good enough to eat again but will not dine in again.
